I bought 210L and this is great tuba that can compete with Miraphone and Yamaha. I had to pull out the slides just like in the youtube and the intonation is perfect. The sound is great. Highly recommended

Just brought home my MACK-TU410S tuba today - wow, what a nice horn! Nice, round sound, great low range, really good fit and finish, plus the case is nice, too. I am surprised at how heavy the horn is - the brass seems as thick as on any other tuba I've had in my lap. If you are looking for a really great CC for an even better price, the 410 is it!

I'm appreciative of Tom's time over the phone; to walk me through my questions from everything regarding various tuba models carried by Mack Brass to playing techniques. He offers straight-forward answers and advice--very refreshing to hear!! I highly recommend Mack Brass if you are considering purchasing a tuba.

I am a MS band director who purchased two of the 3/4ths tubas for my school. WOAH. Tom is excellent to work with and the tubas sound great. Very easy to produce a nice consistent tone and intonation is a breeze. The mouthpieces are similar to helleburg models and the cloth cases are functional. Will be purchasing from here for the foreseeable future.

Just wanted to say that when you dealing with Tom, he is a true gentleman, and a bona fide tuba expert. I am very happy with my 410CC, but it had developed a small clanking sound on the second valve. Tom called me up and stepped me through it completely and we found the problem. Not many vendors would take their time on a Friday evening to do that, and after we had the fix for the problem, we talked "tuba" for a good while. I will surely continue to recommend MacK Brass instruments to anyone that asks - they are an outfit that really cares about customers!

I purchased my Mack Brass Euphonium (MACK-EU1150), in 2015. It is a fantastic professional level instrument. Intonation is very good, some minor things that exist on any instrument. Valve and slides have been great, no issues. I'm using a Schilke 51-D, and it matches nicely, creat a very free blowing horn. I tried nearly all of the other "import euphoniums" before I settled on this instrument. I found it to be the best playing of them, and the customer service from Tom made me feel secure and good about things. Highly recommend this horn to high school band directors, and to working trombonists who need a good doubler's euphonium, although the instrument stands on its own merits. I have now bought two instruments from Tom here at Mack Brass -- the compensating euphonium and the TU210L Bb tuba. Both are exceptional instruments, especially given the cost. I could not have afforded these instruments new if I hadn't come across this website. Though I am a professional pianist by trade (I hold a DMA in performance and am a professor at the nearby state college), I am also quite proficient in brass playing, and these instruments do not disappoint. They have great intonation across the entire range (better than some much more expensive instruments I have played) and are very well-built. During the summer, I play euphonium / trombone in a few of the brass and concert bands in my area, and these instruments are truly excellent. Moreover, Tom is exceptional (!) to work with - extremely friendly, helpful, and professional - a true class act. I know I sound like I'm 'gushing,' but it's difficult to find people who run a business the way he does. Please keep up the great work. You have a loyal customer with me. :-)

In 2013, I purchased a Mack MACK-EU1150S Euphonium and was very pleased with the purchase. Recently, I decided to take up the trumpet as an additional instrument. The MACK-TPT410L Bb Trumpet seemed to fit the bill perfectly: A high quality instrument at a fraction of the cost of the professional model. Tom even gave me a discount for being a previous customer. The horn arrived in a nice case, along with a 7C mouthpiece. My trumpet friends suggested that I try a Bach 1.5C mouthpiece as a transitioning trombone player, so I picked one of those up, as well as a valve guard. After playing it for a few days, I am very happy with my choice. Even though I am a low brass player, the trumpet is producing some nice sounds. It takes very little effort to play in tune across the range, and it doesn't distort at high volumes. The valves work beautifully, too. Thank you, Tom, for offering affordable, quality products for those of us who wish to explore new instruments without breaking the bank! I'm sure I'll be back for more!
